Caterpillars Childcare opened in September 2016. During our founding months we were dedicated to ensuring that we could provide the best Childcare facility possible. We met with many local agencies, parents and colleges to ensure that we met all legal requirements, met all local Childcare needs and could offer opportunities to local students wanting to pursue a career in Childcare. We worked closely with the Early Years and Childcare Services Team from Surrey County Council to ensure that all requirements were met.
On Tuesday 1st May 2018 we had our very first Ofsted Grading Inspection. We are very pleased to announce that we were awarded the “GOOD” grading. A full report can be found on the Ofsted website as well as our own website. Our aim is to provide a nurturing, loving, home from home environment for your child ensuring that their individual needs are met. We take great care in planning our days and ensure that all children are considered in our attention to detail.
We love to visit the local park, go for walks around our community and take the bus into town to go to soft play and the library. All of our activities are tailored to the development of the children in our setting and can be adapted according to their needs. Activites are currently limited due to Coronavirus restrictions.
Our Management Team draws on a wealth of Childcare and business experience. This combination is beneficial to the Nursery and we pride ourselves on remaining up to date with all Rules and Regulations as well as providing a high level of care for the children in our care as well as their families.
All staff have undergone a full check under the Disclosure and Barring Service and all references and qualifications are fully verified by a member of the Management Team. All our staff regularly undergo training to further their knowledge and ability to offer a caring, responsible, educational and fun level of care. We are committed to ensuring that all staff hold their Paediatric First Aid qualification and offer update and refresher training on an annual basis.
At Caterpillars Childcare we aim to create a warm, loving, nurturing environment where they feel safe and secure. The children are given the freedom to learn through play whilst maintaining all the fun elements of being a child. We are an all-inclusive practice and create a safe haven for the children to express themselves and spread their wings.
At Caterpillars Childcare we will work in partnership with all Parents and Carers to ensure that the best possible care is given to the children. We will earn the parents trust in caring for their child and provide a stable, non-judgemental environment for parents to feel fully satisfied with the care we offer.
